Wow. This is so good and ridiculously easy. This was a staple at our summer cottage. Coming in from playing tree tag or kick the can, swimming in the Susquehanna River (you could in those days) or haying it with the farm boys, this just hit the spot. Mom said she used a can of roast beef (like tuna fish, I guess). I couldn't find it, so I used leftover cooked pot roast. Ingredients:
2 lbs pot roast, cooked and shredded |
6 tablespoons ketchup |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2-1 teaspoon curry powder |
1/2 cup water |
garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients together and cook about 1/2 hour. |
