Ingredients:
1 pound(s) bacon - cut into small pieces |
1-3 teaspoon(s) black pepper |
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar - semi-packed |
1 - 15 oz. can(s) butter beans |
1 - 15 oz. can(s) dark kidney beans |
1 - 15oz. can(s) lima beans |
1 medium onion - chopped |
1 - 28 oz. can(s) pork and beans |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
Directions:
1. Combine chopped onion and bacon pieces with 1 cup water, and boil for 10 minutes. 2. Drain lima, butter, and kidney beans. 3. Combine the drained beans, pork and beans, brown sugar, salt and pepper with the boiled onion / bacon mixture. 4. Pour into 9" X 12" casserole dish and bake (uncovered) for 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
