Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound(s) ground beef |
3/4 cup(s) uncooked white rice |
1 onion chopped |
1 tablespoon(s) mural of flavor |
1 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper |
2 egg whites |
2 1/2 cup(s) ginger ale |
1 1/2 cup(s) ketchup |
8 ounce(s) tomato sauce |
1/2 head cabbage grated or chopped |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. grease a 9x13 pan and set aside. 2. In a large bowl, combine the meat, rice, onion, spices and egg whites and mix well. 3. In a separate bowl, mix the ginger ale, ketchup and tomato sauce. 4. Place 6 cups of the cabbage in the baking dish. Spread the meat-rice mixture over the cabbage. Sprinkle with the remaining cabbage. 5. Pour the ketchup mixture over the top. DO NOT STIR. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the liquid is absorbed. |
