This is incredible. The addition of cream cheese in the classic pecan pie takes this pie over the top. Very good. Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
8 ounces cream cheese softened |
1/3 cup granulated sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 egg |
1 unbaked deep dish pie shell |
1-1/4 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Combine eggs, sugar, corn syrup and vanilla in a medium bowl then set aside 3. In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg until combined. 4. Pour into pie shell then top with chopped pecans 5. Pour topping over pecans and bake for 45 minutes 6. Serve warm or at room temperature |
