Another recipe from that old Mennonite cookbook. Ingredients:
2 unbaked pie crusts |
1 1/2 cups cream |
1 1/2 cups milk |
1 3/4 cups sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
5 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450. 2. Mix sugar and flour. 3. Add cream and milk. 4. Add beaten eggs. 5. Pour into shells. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. 6. Bake at 450 until browned. Turn oven to 250 till finished. Test with knife for doneness. 7. Just guessing on the cook time. |
