The recipe title speaks for itself! Ingredients:
1 lb spanish sweet onion (about 3 medium onions) |
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb |
1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed |
1/2 teaspoon morton lite salt |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper |
3 egg whites, beaten until foamy |
Directions:
1. Peel, slice and separate onions into rings. 2. Combine crumbs and seasonings, mix well. 3. Dip onion rings in egg whites then in crumb mixture to coat each piece. 4. Place onions in single layer on greased baking sheet. 5. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes or until onions are crisp and tender. |
