A vinaigrette dressing made using Umeboshi (Japanese Pickled Plums). Very nice on blanched bean sprouts. Ingredients:
1/4 cup rice vinegar or 1/4 cup white vinegar |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon sugar, to taste |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 -2 tablespoon umeboshi plum paste or 2 large umeboshi, seeded |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in blender and puree. |
