This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them on here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
2 lbs liver, cut into small pieces |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 onion, chopped fine |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
salt and pepper |
1/4 cup white wine |
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms |
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. Melt butter, add the onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and liver. Cook for 5 minutes over hot fire, shuffling pan constantly. Add wine, mushrooms and parsley. Cook 3 minutes more. |
