Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes |

Heavenly mashed potato recipe using cream, butter, salt garlic and chicken broth. Ingredients:
28 oz canned or fresh chicken broth |
5 large potatoes; cut into 1-inch pieces |
1/2 cup light cream; (18-20% fat) |
2 tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 dash salt |
1 dash garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Place broth and potatoes in saucepan. 2. Heat to a boil. 3. Cover and cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until tender. 4. Drain, reserving broth. 5. Mash potatoes slightly and place in mixer bowl. 6. Add 1/4 cup broth, cream, butter, salt and garlic powder and run on medium setting. 7. Add additional broth, if needed, until desired consistency. |
