This is a really yummy version of taco soup that has the special ingredient of ranch dressing mix that makes the soup extra tasty! Everyone loves this recipe and it can easily be turned vegetarian by leaving out the hamburger. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
1 onions, diced or 1 onion flakes |
1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning |
1 ounce ranch dressing mix |
2 cups water |
29 ounces tomato sauce |
14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes |
4 ounces diced chilies |
31 ounces ranch style beans |
2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans corn or 2 (15 1/4 ounce) cans hominy, drained |
Directions:
1. Brown the hamburger and onions. Add the taco and ranch seasonings. Stir well. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 minutes. I serve this with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and corn chips. Enjoy! |
