I gobbled up this wonderful dip at a restaurant near us. I loved it so much I had to try to recreate it at home. My friends and family raved about it. Enjoy! The best gouda cheese to use is Parrano. It is an Italian-type gouda that is a little firmer in texture. You can now find it at most grocery stores and Whole Foods. You can use any type of smoked gouda. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups mayonnaise |
1 1/4 cups sour cream |
4 ounces pimientos, chopped and not drained |
2 jalapenos, finely diced |
8 ounces sharp white cheddar cheese, finely shredded |
8 ounces gouda cheese, finely shredded |
8 ounces smoked gouda cheese, finely shredded |
Directions:
1. Fold all ingredients together in a large bowl and serve with crackers or tortilla chips. Store in refrigerator. |
