Perhaps the most well known Greek food along mousaka and souvlaki. :) Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves (minced) |
1 medium cucumber |
250gr strained yogurt |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
some salt and freshly grated pepper |
some dill |
Directions:
1. Grate the cucumber using a coarse grater into a colander. 2. Drain the cucumber and put it in a bowl with the yogurt and the minced garlic. 3. Add oil, vinegar, some salt and the freshly grated pepper and stir the mixture well. 4. Finally add some chopped dill on the top. |
