Tzatziki can be used as a dip or as a sauce over rice, veggies, baked potatoes, or gyro sandwiches. The recipe comes from channel 10 TV.
Ingredients:
32 ounces yogurt
1/2 cucumber, grated
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
1 tablespoon fresh dill
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pinch salt
Directions:
1. Drain yogurt completely.
2. Clean and grate cucumber, then place in a cloth to drain.
3. Crush Garlic.
4. Put yogurt in a large bowl, add cucumber, garlic, dill, olive oil and salt.
5. Mix together gently.
6. Let stand 30 minutes before serving.
