Tye-Dyed Macaroon Bars

These are SO cute. I picked up some of those new little Kissables from Hershey's and was looking for a way to just stop eating them by the handful. With Valentine's Day coming up, I also needed a gift for my Secret Sister at church. I think these will be perfect.
Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups mounds sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 egg whites
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 (10 1/2 ounce) package hershey's kissables decorative candies
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Lightly grease 8- or 9-inch square baking pan.
3. Stir together coconut, sugar, flour and salt in large bowl.
4. Add egg whites, egg and almond extract; stir until well blended.
5. Stir in candies.
6. Spread mixture in prepared pan.
7. Bake 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
8. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
9. Cover with foil; allow to stand at room temperature about 8 hours or overnight.
10. Cut into bars.
