Two-Step Whole Wheat Pumpkin Bars |

No refined flour or sugar :) These easy, yummy bars are not too sweet, so I recommend frosting them with cream cheese frosting. This was one of the very first things I learned to bake! Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil |
1/3 cup honey |
2 eggs |
1 cup whole wheat flour, plus |
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup canned pumpkin |
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/3 cup nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix well. 2. Bake in greased 9x13 baking pan for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees; cool on wire rack. |
