Not only fast and easy to make these little pastries are delicious Ingredients:

1/2 package (17 1/4 oz.) frozen pastry sheets (use 1 sheet) |
1 1/2 cups crumbled blue cheese (about 6 oz.) |
1/2 package (8 oz, size) cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup heavy cream |
1 tsp. lemon juice |
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped |
chopped fresh parsley |
1 medium granny smith apple, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Thaw pastry sheet at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Unfold pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 3 strips along fold marks. Cut each strip into 6 rectangles. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from baking sheet. Cool on wire rack. 3. In a medium bowl with electric mixer at low speed, beat blue cheese, cream cheese, cream and lemon juice until smooth. 4. Split pastries into 2 layers. Spread 18 halves with 1 TBS. cheese mixture. Top with remaining halves and spread with cheese mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts and parsley. Top each pastry with 1 apple slice. Chill before serving. Makes 18 pastries. |
