Twinkie Cake

This is another recipe from my aunt :-) It tastes just like a twinkie.
Ingredients:
1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix
egg, oil, water, etc for the cake mix
5 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup crisco vegetable shortening
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Bake the cake according to package directions in a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Cool completely. Cut in half lengthwise.
2. Cook flour and milk, bringing to a boil until thick. Cool completely!
3. In a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients to the milk. MIx on high for 8 minutes. Put bottom half of cake back in the pan and spread filling over it. Top with the other half of the cake. Keep refrigerated.
