Twice Baked Potato Sheet Cake |

this is a bulk potato side dish for many guests Ingredients:
potato 5 lb bag |
bacon one pound fried crisp and crushed sliced minced -but get it to bacon bits |
onion two fist sized vidalias diced |
grated cheese one pound of colby |
sour cream one cup |
real butter (or dont bother) two sticks sliced to pats |
one handful fresh chives |
Directions:
1. boil peeled cubed potatoes until tender 2. mash still warm potato's and add sour cream and butter until its all creamy 3. add raw onions and mix well 4. on a tin foil covered sheet cake pan lay out potato mixture covering entire pan (about a half inch thick) 5. sprinkle with crisp bacon chips 6. toss yer chives at it lawn like lawn clippings 7. coat with shredded cheese 8. bake for thirty minutes at 350 9. slice into serving sizes of your choosing and serve hot... |
