Ingredients:
1 (16-ounce) box graham crackers, crushed fine and divided |
32 large marshmallows, cut into small pieces |
1 (8-ounce) package chopped dates |
18 red maraschino cherries, drained and chopped |
1 cup half-and-half |
1 cup chopped pecans |
additional whipped cream |
12 red maraschino cherries, drained |
Directions:
1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, reserving 1/2cup, marshmallow pieces, dates, chopped cherries, half-and-half, and pecans in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. 2. Spoon mixture onto waxed paper, shaping into a 12- x 3-inch roll. Cover with reserved graham cracker crumbs. Wrap securely in waxed paper, and chill several hours or overnight. 3. Cut roll into twelve 1-inchthick slices; place each slice on a dessert plate. Dollop with additional whipped cream, and garnish with a cherry. |
