Great for Italian night! Apple can be substituted for the pear. Ingredients:
1 (1 lb) bag romaine lettuce |
1 (1 lb) bag baby lettuce or 1 (1 lb) bag spinach |
1 cup celery, chopped |
1 cup fresh bacon bits |
1 (4 ounce) container gorgonzola or 1 (4 ounce) container feta, crumbles |
1 pear, sliced |
1/2 cup pecans |
1 cup sliced strawberry |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon celery salt |
Directions:
1. Combine lettuces, celery, bacon, cheese, pear, pecans and strawberries in a large bowl. 2. In a smaller bowl, combine remaining ingredients with a wire whisk. 3. Pour dressing over the salad and toss well. |
