This recipe has been the cornerstone of my annual Super Bowl party for years. It requires very little prep work, and cooking is as easy as starting a fire in your grill. Ingredients:
3 lbs. chicken wings |
1 bulb garlic, cloves separated, peeled, and sliced thinly |
1/2 bunch flat-leaf italian parsley, leaves only, chopped finely |
1/2 quart red wine vinegar |
salt & freshly-ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. If necessary, separate the chicken wings into two pieces. Marinate in the garlic, parsley, and vinegar for two hours at room temperature. 2. Start a charcoal fire, and when it has burned to embers, that is to say, when the coals have a uniform gray coating around them, grill the wings for about four minutes per side. 3. Season with salt and pepper, and serve immediately. 4. Serves from one to ten. |
