Ingredients:
2/3 cup(s) salted butter softened |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
2 egg yolks |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
1-1/2 cup(s) flour |
20 caramels unwrapped |
2 tablespoon(s) heavy whipping cream heaping |
48 pecan halves |
1 cup(s) chocolate chips |
1 teaspoon(s) shortening |
Directions:
1. - Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla and beat until creamy 2. - Add flour 3. - Cover for one hour (min) in fridge 4. - Preheat over to 375 5. - Roll dough into 1 balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet 6. - Depress center of ball with middle finger (no cracks) 7. - Bake for 7-10 min (not brown) 8. - Cool completely 9. - Combine caramels and whipping cream; microwave and stir until mixed 10. - Fill depression in cookies with caramel mixture 11. - Top with pecan half 12. - Let cookies sit for a few minutes 13. - Melt chocolate chips and shortening; microwave and stir until melted 14. - Drizzle chocolate over cookies with a whisk 15. - Can be frozen (separate layers with waxed paper) |
