This is a great twist on pumpkin pie to give it a little flare. I got it from the back of a cool whip label, but it's now one of my favorite holiday recipes. Ingredients:
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp caramel topping |
1 graham cracker pie crust (6 oz) |
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp peacan pieces |
1 cup cold milk |
2 pkg vanilla instant pudding |
1 cup pumpkin puree |
1 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg |
1 tub whip topping |
Directions:
1. Pur 1/4 cup caramel topping into pie crust and sprinkle with pecans 2. beat milk, dry pudding mixes, pumkin, and spices with whisk until blended, stir in 1 1/2 cups whip topping, and spread into crust 3. Top with remaining whip topping 4. Refridgerate 1 hour 5. Top with pecans and drizzle remaining caramel with fork 6. Enjoy! 7. Store any leftovers in refrigerator |
