Rich and yummy - easy too! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 cup pecan halves |
2/3 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, beat flour, 1 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup softened butter on medium speed for 2-3 minutes. 2. Press firmly into an ungreasedd 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 3. Arrange the pecans over the crust. 4. Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil. 5. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly. 6. Pour over pecans. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or til bubbly. 8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips and let stand 3 minutes. 9. Spread chocolate, but allow some chips to remain whole. 10. Cool completely; cut into squares. |
