Turnaround Turkey and Rice |

Quick use of Thanksgiving leftovers. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
2 stalks celery, chopped |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 cup cooked turkey, cut in cubes |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package turkey gravy mix |
1/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 teaspoon season-all salt |
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. 2. Add celery and onion and cook for 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occassionally. 3. Add cooked turkey. 4. Blend water, gravy mix, milk, flour, and season-all. 5. Pour over turkey mixture. 6. Stir. 7. Bring to a boil. 8. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. 9. Serve over rice. |
