For Zaar Tour 6. Instructions were in grams; I converted them. these taste pretty good Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups flour |
1 cup butter, softened |
1 tablespoon yogurt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
5 tablespoons powdered sugar |
3 apples |
5 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 cup water |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
3 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/4 cup walnuts |
hazelnuts, chopped fine |
Directions:
1. For the filling:. 2. Peel,seed and chop apples; cook with sugar and 1/4 cup water. ( i needed a little more ). 3. Cook until soft; add zest and cinnamon add nuts. 4. For dough;. 5. Mix flour, butter, yogurt, baking powder, vanilla, and powdered sugar together.( i needed some water ,enough to make a pie dough ). 6. Form into balls; dough should be size of egg; press out into flat ovals. 7. Put filling on one side; fold over; pinch edges together. 8. Put on cookie sheet. 9. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. |
