turkey soup is an easy filling winter recipe - i buy turkey when it is cheap - strip off the breast and thighs for other recipes then boil down the remainer with carrots, celery, galic, onions and herbs - drain off the broth and freeze for many quick easy soups Ingredients:
6 cups turkey broth |
4 carrots |
1 lb spinach |
4 stalks celery |
1 onion |
1/2 cup edamame |
1/2 cup barley |
Directions:
1. peel carrots, celery, onion slice and add to broth, add barley & edamame- cook until barley is done and vegetables are soft - add spinac and cook about 10 minutes - serve. |
