TURKEY VEGETABLE CHILI MAC This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Massey Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
3/4 pound ground turkey breast |
15 ounce can black beans rinsed and drained |
14-1/2 ounce can mexican style stewed tomatoes with juice |
14-1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes with juice |
1 cup frozen corn |
1/2 cup chopped white onion |
2 cloves garlic minced |
1 teaspoon mexican seasoning |
1/2 cup uncooked elbow macaroni |
1/3 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. Spray large skillet with nonstick cooking spray then add turkey and cook until browned. 2. Combine cooked turkey, beans, tomatoes, corn, onion, garlic and seasoning in crock pot. 3. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours then stir in macaroni and cover and cook 10 minutes more. 4. Stir well then cover and cook 30 minutes longer then serve with sour cream. |
