a mexican turnover Ingredients:
1 medium onion diced |
1/2 red or green bell pepper diced |
2 tbs, vegtable oil |
2 cups cooked ground turkey |
1 8oz. can tomatoe sauce |
1/2 pkg taco seasoning mix |
1-16 oz can jumbo biscuits split |
1 cup colby cheese or pepperjack cheese |
6 green onions choppes |
toppings- sour cream salsa |
Directions:
1. Saute; onion and pepper in hot oil over medium high heat 5 minutes or till onion is tender stir in ground turkey, tomatoe sauce and taco seasonings remove from hea let cool. 2. Roll each buscuit half into a 6 inch circle spoon 2 tablespoons turkey mixture cheese and green onions on 1 side each circle fold in half seal edges with fork 3. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. 4. Bake 400 for 15 minutes till golden 5. serve with sour cream and salsa 6. Given to me by a friend |
