Turkey casserole, left over turkey Ingredients:
3 tbsp canola oil |
3 tbsp all purpose flour |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup celery, chopped |
2 cups cooked turkey, chopped |
1 cup chicken broth |
10 3/4 oz cream of chicken soup |
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese |
8 oz spaghetti, cooked |
Directions:
1. Make roux with oil and flour 2. Brown onion in roux 3. Add cream of chicken soup, chopped cooked turkey, and cooked spaghetti. Add enough chicken broth to make desired consistency. 4. Add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese 5. Pour in buttered square baking dish. 6. Top with remaining cheddar cheese. 7. Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbling. 8. If desired, turn oven to broil to brown cheese topping. |
