This is so delightful - and so very easy to make - You can substitute a can of Cream of Chicken soup for the Cream of Celery and 2 cups of cooked chicken. TIP: 2 cups cooked broccoli cuts use about 1 lb. fresh broccoli, trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces or 1 package (10oz) frozen broccoli cuts. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups boiling water |
4 tablespoons butter or 4 tablespoons margarine, melted |
4 cups seasoned stuffing mix |
2 cups broccoli, cuts |
2 cups cubed cooked turkey |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can campbell's cream of celery soup |
1/2 cup milk |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Mix water and margarine. Add stuffing mix. Mix lightly. 2. Spoon into 2-quart shallow baking dish. 3. Arrange broccoli and turkey over stuffing. 4. In small bowl, mix soup, milk and 1/2 cup cheese. Pour over broccoli and turkey. 5. Sprinkle remaining cheese over soup mixture. 6. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until hot. |
