Simple stroganoff recipe, like Mom used to make. Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1 medium onion, chopped |
3 ounces butter |
1 garlic clove, finely chopped |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup sour cream |
8 ounces egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Caramelize onion in butter. 2. Boil water. When a rolling boil, cook noodles al dente and set aside. 3. Add and Cook beef with garlic in skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally, until meat is brown (cooked), drain. 4. Stir in soup and salt. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes. 5. Stir in sour cream; cook until hot. Serve over noodles. |
