This will be a family favorite after Thanksgiving as well as a great light dish for entertaining. I like to serve it along with some fresh garlic bread or crescents Ingredients:
turkey(leftover) |
green beans |
bacon |
carrots |
sausage |
stuffing |
onion |
garlic |
pepper |
turkey broth |
egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Boil turkey carcass in large pan for several hours (until meat falls off easily 2. Strain broth 3. Paying close attention to small bones 4. Pour broth into crockpot 5. Add turkey back into broth 6. Add leftover green beans 7. Add carrots 8. Cooked bacon 9. Stuffing (I make my stuffing with sausage so it is already added) 10. Add cooked sausage ( if not already added with stuffing) 11. 2 onions chopped 12. Garlic and pepper to taste 13. cook on high (depending on type of crockpot, let cook for 4 hours) 14. Add noodles and cook another 30-60 min 15. Serve with garlic bread or any of your favorite rolls 16. Enjoy! |
