I love sloppy joes and this is a great way to enjoy them without all the fat. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground turkey |
1/4 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup ketchup |
3 tablespoons barbecue sauce |
1 tablespoon prepared mustard |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
6 whole wheat hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, cook the turkey and onion until turkey is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. 2. Add the remaining ingredients (except the buns); simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Serve on buns. |
