Very lean breakfast protein Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 teaspoon coriander |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
1/2 teaspoon chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Combine turkey and dry spices in large bowl. Mix together thoroughly. 2. Add chicken broth, mixing well. Let stand 15-20 minutes. 3. Form turkey into 8 patties, approximately 3/4 thick. 4. Cook patties in non-stick skillet over medium heat, about 7-8 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked. 5. Freeze on a baking sheet. 6. Seal in vacuum seal bags. 7. Defrost and heat in microwave ~70 seconds. |
