1 1/2 lbs turkey breast, cubed |
1 (14 ounce) can plum tomatoes, chopped (do not drain) |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
2 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup sliced carrot |
1/2 cup sliced celery |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary |
1/2 teaspoon dried sage |
1 -2 tablespoon cornstarch |
2 -4 tablespoons cold water |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker. Cover and cook 6-8 hours on low. 2. Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
