A savory pie, great for using that left over holiday turkey. Ingredients:
2 frozen pie crusts |
2 1/2 cups turkey, diced |
1 cup mixed vegetables |
1/2 cup potatoes, diced |
1/2 cup onion |
1 cup water |
2 stock cubes, chicken |
1 tbsp flour |
1 tsp garlic |
1 tsp savory |
1 tsp oregano |
1/2 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Place one crust in an ungreased pie plate. 2. In a medium bowl microwave stock cubes in water, until dissolved. 3. Whisk in flour. Add all other ingredients mixing well. 4. pour into pie crust. 5. Top with second crust, crimping edges. Cut vent hole in top. 6. Bake (put pie an cookie sheet) at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes (or until crust is golden brown. |
