Turkey Patty for Pita sandwich Ingredients:
10 ounces ground turkey |
6 tbsp seasoned croutons, crushed |
2 eggs |
4 tbsp chopped onion |
2 tbsp chopped parsley |
2 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup cucumber, chopped |
1/2 cup tomato, chopped |
2 tbsp mustard |
1 avocado |
Directions:
1. Mix first 6 ingredients (through garlic). 2. Divide to make 4 patties. 3. cook in 4 tsp olive oil in non-stick skillet about 4 minutes on each side, or grill on George Foreman grill for about 4-5 minutes. 4. Prepare half a pita. Stuff w/ avocado, chopped cucumber, chopped tomatoe, mustard, and drizzle a favorite non-fat dressing over the top. 5. If fresh avocado is not available, Trader Joe's frozen avocado guacomole can be used. |
