This recipe is a favorite of mine and it is very healthy. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1/2 cup white onion, chopped |
1/4 cup reduced-fat italian salad dressing |
2 lbs ground turkey |
3/4 cup ketchup, divided |
1 (6 ounce) package stove top low-sodium chicken stuffing mix |
1 cup water |
2 egg whites |
1/2 cup reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. Cook onion sin dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool slightly. 2. Combine meat, 1/4 cup of ketchup, the stuffing mix, water, egg whites, and onions; mix well. Pleace neat mixture in a 13x9-inch baking dish; shape into 10x5-inch loaf. Spread with remaining 1/2 cup ketchup. 3. Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until cooked through. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
