Atkins Friendly but VERY Tasty! USE the leanest ground turkey you can find....the recipe uses 99% FF turkey breast. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lb. turkey breast, ground |
1 red bell pepper, diced |
1 yellow onion, diced |
1 c. mushrooms, chopped up |
1/4 c. egg white substitute |
1 cup shredded carrots |
1 dash salt |
1 dash pepper |
1/4 tsp. onion powder |
1/4 tsp. garlic powder |
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce, reduced sodium |
Directions:
1. Mix all together. Form into meatballs (about 2 diameter). Bake on cookie sheet for 40 minutes on 375. 2. 1 Serving = 4 meatballs which is ALOT! |
