Very tasty, homey dish! Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1 cup lentils |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 can chopped tomato |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce |
2 tablespoons chili powder |
1 tablespoon ground cumin |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. Saute Onion and Pepper Using either Olive oil or Pan Spray; Remove from heat Brown Turkey, then add spices, onion and pepper, tomatoes, sauce and lentils. 2. Simmer about 1 hour or until done. 3. Add Water as needed to keep Chili from sticking to bottom of pan. |
