Traditional Homemade Lasagna made with ground turkey. Ingredients:
8 oz pasta |
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
6 oz tomato paste |
14 1/2 oz stewed tomatoes |
8 oz ricotta cheese |
16 oz mozzarella |
1 clove garlic, minced |
2 tbsp dry minced onions |
1 tsp dried oregano |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Boil lasagna noodles until al dente. Mix Ricotta and Mozzarella. Combine Tomato Paste, 12oz of water, and Stewed tomatoes in pot and simmer. Brown ground turkey with onions, garlic and oregano. Drain off excess fat, then add to tomato sauce. Pour thin layer of sauce into 9x12 pan. Place 3 lasagna noodles into bottom of pan to cover sauce. Spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture over pasta. Spread about 1/3 of remaining sauce over cheese layer. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over cheese & sauce layer. Spread remaining half of cheese mixture over pasta & cover with half of remaining sauce. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over this layer & cover with remaining sauce. Bake at 400 for about 25-30 min. |
