This recipe came from the side of an Ann Page Poultry Seasoning tin from I think the 1950's or 1960's. My mother still has the original tin under lock & key. LOL!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 onions
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
8 cups dry bread cubes
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
Directions:
1. In skillet on medium heat, melt butter.
2. Mince and add 2-onions, brown lightly.
3. Add chopped celery, poultry seasoning, salt & pepper.
4. Pour mixture over bread cubes and mix well.
5. Sufficent for one 10-lb. turkey.
