I entered this in the 1991 National Topsy-Turvy Turkey recipe contest. I didn't win......but this is good! Ingredients:
10 ounces turkey, finely chopped (any cooked scraps you have) |
8 ounces cream cheese |
3 drops liquid smoke |
1 teaspoon horseradish |
3 tablespoons mayonnaise (or plain yogurt) |
1 1/2 teaspoons parsley, chopped |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
french bread, sliced on the diagonal |
Directions:
1. Mix all (except bread) until well blended. Spread on top of thinly sliced french bread. 2. Broil in your oven or toaster oven for a few minutes. |
