A low carb, simple, delicious chili Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground turkey |
1 large onion, chopped |
2 bell peppers, chopped |
4 garlic cloves, chopped |
30 ounces canned diced tomatoes |
30 ounces kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
1 -2 cup water |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1 teaspoon coriander |
1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in large pot. Brown turkey meat and saute the cumin. 2. Add the onion, pepper and garlic and saute until soft. 3. Add tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. 4. Simmer for 1 hour. Add more or less water depending on desired thickness of chili. |
