Turkey Chili Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (15 ounce) can black-eyed peas |
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans |
1 (15 ounce) can mixed beans (for chili) |
1 cup tomato sauce |
1 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Brown turkey, onions and garlic. 2. Drain fat. 3. Add beans, spices and tomato sauce. 4. Simmer for 1-2 hours. 5. Can add veggies as well, such as zucchini. |
