Ingredients:
3 pounds ground turkey |
salt and pepper |
1 red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
3 scallions, white part only, chopped |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
8 hamburger buns |
Directions:
1. Combine turkey, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add bell pepper, thyme, scallions and oil and mix well. Form into 8 patties. Chill until ready to use. Prepare a charcoal fire or set a gas grill to medium-high. Cook burgers, turning once, until no longer pink in center, about 5 minutes per side. Serve on warm toasted buns. |
