Ingredients:
1 ounce olive oil |
1/2 red onion, diced |
4 tablespoons black olives, diced |
1/2 red bell pepper, diced |
1 jalapeno, diced |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
1/4 cup artichoke heart, diced |
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 tablespoon parsley flakes |
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon celery salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground sage |
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. In a saute pan on medium to medium-high heat add oil & all raw vegetables & saute until translucent. Remove & let cool. 2. Add veggies to (raw) ground turkey & mix thoroughly. 3. Add all dry ingredients & egg. Throughly mix & form into 4 patties. 4. Cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes. 5. Cook burgers on grill, in a saute pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray or in the oven on a broiler pan until you reach 180 degrees. 6. Serve on a bun (with condiments if you like). |
