This came from Thinner Times. I have not tried this, just posting for easy finding. Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground turkey |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
14 ounces petite diced tomatoes |
2 teaspoons chili powder |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
14 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed |
shredded cheese |
low-fat sour cream |
olive |
tortilla (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan brown ground turkey & onion. 2. Add remaining ingredients, stir and simmer (uncovered) for about 10 - 15 minutes until thickened. 3. Serve with shredded cheese, low-fat sour cream, and olives. Your family can enjoy the mixture in a tortilla, if desired. |
