homemade turkey soup Ingredients:
2 cups carrots |
2 cups celery |
2 cups yellow onions |
2 cups turkey |
1 cup barley |
1/2 cups parsley |
6 cups water |
2 cloves garlic |
1 cup snow peas |
Directions:
1. Boil the carcasse of turkey breast or small turkey for about one hour. Remove bones. Add all remaining ingredients (save barley) to pot and bring to boil; simmer until onions become translucent. About 3 hours. Add barley, simmer additional hour. Salt and pepper to taste |
